SPSS has both armed and unarmed security officers that can be either uniformed or plain-clothed to fit your needs. We have both ex-military and police experienced persons on our staff providing unsurpassed knowledge and training to our officers.
Our employees go through an F.B.I. Fingerprint check and national background check, to include, being individually licensed by the State of Texas Department of Public Safety (State Police).
Our posted security guard service is a very effective program for clients that require professional, dependable guards to remain on site for any given time, for any type of circumstance. Unlike a random vehicle patrol service, the guard does not leave your property and remains on site for maximum, uninterrupted protection and coverage.
Our security officers provide both interior and exterior protection to any facility (24 hours a day/seven days a week), on foot, in a vehicle, or stationed at a certain point or area.
A typical tour of duty would include: Criminal deterrent, Access control, Public relations, Foot or vehicle patrol, Door & window checks, Lock or unlock designated areas, Checks for any maintenance or safety hazards, Respond to any calls or emergencies, Investigate suspicious or criminal activities, Enforce your rules and regulations, Submit detailed reports for each shift.
24 hour, live, bilingual dispatch. SPSS Management response.
Along with many new state-of-the art features and services, for all calls of service, you will be connected to a live dispatcher .SPSS has a local, 24 hour, bilingual dispatch which speaks several different languages to assist callers from different nationalities. Unlike many other companies trying to cut corners, we don’t have our guards, supervisors or patrol officers act as dispatchers or office management after hours. SPSS employs professionally trained dispatchers to act as a liaison between management, clients, police, fire, medical, and tow companies - 24 hours a day. After receiving a call from you, our dispatch will quickly send that call out to a nearby patrol unit for response. All calls are digitally recorded to ensure quality control and can be reviewed by the client for up to 90 days after any such issue.
Our dispatchers, much like law enforcement, can send updated client or call information to our officers while they are responding to a call through several systems we have in place: Secured phones, digital radios (that are also scrambled), and digitally secured instant call messaging through laptops and other devices used.
Our dispatch also monitors our officers and patrol cars through GPS in-car tracking systems which not only shows which car is closer to the call, but also ensures contracted service is being performed properly with all checks or patrols being done.
SPSS can also have a Manager (not just a guard or supervisor) on your property within 30-60 minutes of notification of all major incidents. SPSS management personnel is trained to deal with media, outside investigators, law enforcement personnel, etc, while protecting your interest and ensuring everything is being handled properly; we also try to protect your reputation, privacy, and liability with the greatest care and attention possible.
Our in-house training and testing exceeds the State's requirements, to include, additional checks with us and a 100% pre- employment drug screen, not only at point of hire, but also throughout employment. Our officers are trained to be proactive and professional, thus providing our clients with maximum performance and enforcement for their dollar.
